A creative list of keywords to use in headlines

// February 7th, 2010 // Blogging, Tips

So I was thinking about what to write on this blog, and I couldn’t think of anything. Literally. I have maybe 7 drafts worked up already and I just didn’t want to write about any of those topics. So I had a flash thought, “why did you start a blog you don’t even want to update?” Trying to come up with a headline, I realized something… We are all victimes of words like awesome, amazing, the ultimate when it comes to create headlines and it’s no secret that bloggers love to use them frequently.

Because bloggers want to have on each post a catchy headline, my intention is to create a list of keyword which can be used in achieving outstanding headlines. Therefore, be creative, use your keywords and add some spice. Being better in what you do is always a challenge, so bring that enthusiasm and passion fuel an create fantastic content.

Don’t forget that overall keyword density is important. SEO is important, the structure of your article, content has to relay a message or a story, it has to be fun or interesting to read. I myself sill trying to get out of my own shell on this matter.

Conclusion: If you have a post of 300 words long and it’s not quite done. Don’t publish it! Unless you got your point. An outstanding headline anticipates a excellent article to read, so it couldn’t hurt to keep an eye on the blueprint of your content.

Long story short, in the image below I put together a rather shot creative list of keywords to use in the headlines, but you can help me expand it!
